Abstract

The article is devoted to interactive methods in the process of teaching a foreign language. Traditional and modern interactive teaching methods are described. A modern teacher owns a variety of tools for developing communication skills and abilities. However, the level of oral communication skills remains low. Observation shows that teaching writing and developing grammatical skills prevail in the classroom; teachers rarely use interactive teaching methods. In addition to the educational and methodological kits used, it is necessary to develop a system of interactive exercises that form an educational-speech situation, since the educational-speech situation and its modeling in the educational process are the most effective means of developing communication skills at the primary stage in school. The practical significance of the study consisted in the description of interactive methods, their essence, as well as in the development of a system of interactive exercises taking into account the content component of teaching materials.
