STANDARD OF LIVING OF THE POPULATION AS A FACTOR OF ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE IRKUTSK REGION

The article is devoted to the study of the standard of living of the population as one of the important factors of economic security of the Irkutsk region. The purpose of the scientific article is to study the indicators of well-being as a factor of economic security of the region. The object of the study is the Irkutsk region. The subject of the article is the socio-economic indicators of the standard of living of the population of the Irkutsk region. The relevance of the study on the selected problem is due to the need to assess the socio-economic risks that have arisen due to economic and social instability. A high standard of living of the population contributes to strengthening economic security, since it leads to an increase in consumer demand, the development of small and medium businesses and a decrease in social tension. Some socio-economic indicators of the standard of living of the population are considered, which characterize the volume, composition, main areas of use and distribution of cash income between individual groups of the population. The main risk factors are identified and ways to improve the economic security of the region are proposed.
