DIGITALIZATION OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMY

The article examines current trends in the digitalization of the global economy and its connection with innovative development. Key concepts of the digital economy and innovation are discussed, along with statistical and expert assessments of the growth of digital technologies in the world economy. Special attention is given to national digitalization strategies in Russia, the United States, and China, with an analysis of the role of government and business in promoting innovation. It is shown that digital transformation enhances the efficiency of economic processes but also poses challenges related to cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and the training of qualified personnel. The main problems and prospects for the further development of the digital economy are identified, as well as the role of interstate cooperation and competition in this field.
