THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING TED TALKS MEDIA CONTENT FROM YOUTUBE VIDEO HOSTING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE SPEECH SKILLS OF A MODERN SPEAKER

Information technologies are firmly entrenched in all spheres of human life. The modern digitalization of society has made it possible to significantly expand the ways of effectively learning a foreign language. Various educational programs on the Internet, innovative platforms for self-study have become a valuable resource for improving language competencies. To date, automation and computerization of relations in the field of education contribute to the widespread use of information and communication technologies in order to prepare for public speaking. Since public discourse in its structure includes a number of features that are characteristic of the communicative impact on the addressee, the formation of oratory strategies and communication tactics is an important and irreversible process of developing communication skills and one's own presentation. Due to the lack of knowledge of the capabilities of modern information platforms, the current TED Internet resource is considered. com, which provides access to an unlimited number of authentic videos.
The article presents the results of a study of the effectiveness of the use of the public educational media resource TED Talks in learning English, the influence of video lectures taken from YouTube video hosting on the development of creative writing and oral speech skills is determined. A key place is given to identifying and analyzing the benefits of working with a relevant tool of educational practice.
The paper concludes about the basic skills of the speaker, necessary for successful public speech in the framework of oratory. Based on some domestic and foreign scientific research that is freely available, specific ways to improve language abilities are listed by viewing and analyzing materials on the Internet.
