The article describes the possibilities of using the ERA TEP computer program when designing sections of new railways or reconstructing existing railways.
For the program to work, a base of normative and reference information is required. Different versions of the ERA TEP computer program work with all base options. The article examines the databases of normative and reference information from different versions of the program. The article analyzes various versions of the database, shows the differences, advantages and disadvantages of old and new versions and clarifies the latest version of the database, for use in further thrust calculations in this program.
In the course of researching various versions of the database, the latest version was finalized and updated by the authors of the article.
