THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DIVIDEND YIELD AND INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS OF DOMESTIC CORPORATIONS

Abstract

Absract: in the era of increased volatility of financial markets and increased competition for capital, the issue of assessing the investment attractiveness of corporations is becoming especially relevant. One of the key factors influencing investors' decisions is dividend yield. This paper is devoted to the study of the relationship between dividend yield and investment attractiveness of domestic corporations using financial ratios that reflect business efficiency and the financial condition of the company as a whole, such as P/E (market capitalization/profit), P/BV (market capitalization/book value), ROE (return on equity), EV/EBITDA (market capitalization/long-term liabilities). Particular attention is paid to the study of the specifics of the Russian market. The results obtained will allow us to assess how significant an indicator is dividend yield in assessing investment attractiveness and what factors can distort this relationship.
