NEW APPROACHES TO THE ORGANIZATION OF TERMINAL - WAREHOUSE COMPLEXES

Abstract

In modern conditions, new approaches to the organization of terminal and warehouse complexes require the improvement of planning methods. The terminal warehouse complex (hereinafter referred to as TSC) plays an important role in the transportation process, such complexes are built in places with a large volume of processing, loading and unloading of goods. Currently, the need for transportation of goods is increasing. The article discusses modern approaches to the organization of terminal and warehouse activities. More and more Russian enterprises are realizing the need to use and apply information support. In this regard, in this paper, the authors considered and analyzed the main approaches to the organization of warehouse activities, such as system and process approaches. Thanks to new technologies and modern logistics systems, a new information interconnection is being created, which is a key feature in many areas, along with transport. This dynamics has led to the development of new approaches to the organization of terminal and warehouse complexes.

The presented article proposes new approaches - as an integral part of the application of innovations in those segments that strive to take a leading position in the market. Along with this, the purpose of the article should include the key factors of new areas of terminal complexes that affect the development of the transport system. In this case, it is necessary to consider the following tasks: 1. Present the problems of logistics development in the transport sector. 2. To propose new approaches to the organization of terminal and warehouse complexes for the near future. 3. Give recommendations on the application of innovations in the terminal system.
