Abstract

The article "Mathematics in Video Game Development" discusses the basic principles of applying mathematical fields in the video game development industry. The authors note that many games contain mathematical elements, such as calculations of speed, trajectories and coordinates. They also emphasize that using mathematics as a tool can improve the understanding and application of mathematical concepts in video game development. The article also discusses many mathematical fields that are used in the process of developing video games, as well as using it to monetize the product. Various methods used in game mathematics are described, such as optimization, mathematical methods for transmitting information. In general, the article gives students and professionals in the field of video game development a unique opportunity to get a brief idea of how mathematics helps to create video games and how it works in practice. As a result, the article shows that mathematics is one of the main tools for the successful development and programming of video games.
