TRANSFORMATION OF THE STATE OF INCOME AND EXPENSES OF THE POPULATION IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION: THEORETICAL AND APPLIED ASPECTS

Abstract

The conducted research demonstrates that it is the level of income that is the main indicator of studying the economic well-being of the population, the latter determines the availability of needs such as food, housing, healthcare and education. Without income growth, expenses cannot increase. The current economic situation in the country can be assessed by the effectiveness of the state policy and social programs. This article analyzes the materials based on the results of economic and statistical analysis, which allow us to assess the standard of living of the population of the Russian Federation in the periods 2013 to 2022. The study is based on data on income and expenditure statistics for the Russian Federation, the actual material is taken from the official website of Rosstat. Based on the analysis, the authors concluded that of all the factors, the inflation rate has the greatest impact on the income of the population, as the main exogenous variable, which also has an impact on the volume of public spending. The average per capita and general indicators of nominal and real incomes and expenditures of the population are considered. The main result of the study is the conclusion about the importance of proper management of income and expenses of the population to ensure sustainable economic development and improve the welfare of the country. At the heart of improving and improving the macroeconomic situation, it is necessary to stimulate measures by national institutions aimed at reducing inflation in order to ensure more sustainable economic development.
