PROBLEMS OF OPERATION OF MOTOR-AXIAL SLIDING BEARINGS OF ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES OF THE EAST SIBERIAN TRACTION DIRECTORATE

The article presents an analysis of failures of the motor-axial bearing unit (MOS) of electric locomotives of the VL and Ermak series for linear enterprises of the East Siberian branch of LocoTech-Service LLC for the period 2018-2020.
The diagrams show the dynamics of changes in the number of failures by month during the analysis period, as well as the main reasons for the occurrence of MOS failures in percentage terms.
An assessment of the impact of contamination of the ballast layer of the railway track with grease, due to the imperfect technology of refueling the MOPP slip boxes, is given. The pollution of the coastal zone of Lake Baikal has been acute for many years, given that the company JSC "Russian Railways" has declared the Year of Ecology in 2021, solving the problem of refueling electric locomotives with MOS is extremely urgent.
The losses of lubrication during refueling of the MOS box "by overflow" for one electric locomotive, depending on its series, are shown. The main problems of the operation of the sliding MOS box with a constant level of lubrication are formulated.
